Walking Group

The next walk will be on Saturday 9th October in and around Frodsham Hill. The route will follow part of the    Sandstone Trail and will embrace mature woodlands, sandstone cliffs and panoramic views of the Mersey estuary. The route has been chosen to avoid major slopes and inclines. There will be some natural sandstone steps and one or two stiles to negotiate. Sturdy shoes or walking boots are recommended in the event that some of the paths are wet. We will meet at Beacon Hill car park (see directions) at 9.45 a.m. for a 10.00 a.m. start. Allow about 40 minutes travelling time to Frodsham.

After the walk we will make the short drive to the Ring o’ Bell near the hill where we will be having lunch at 12.30 p.m.
